Gaurav Niwas Safe-Home Complex Construction & Commissioning

We have so far, operated our Children’s Home and Learning Centres out of rented facilities, with limited housing potential.

With an aim to augment our housing potential, and more importantly, to provide a one-stop secure rehabilitation space to child survivors with long term institutional support needs, it has been our dream to have our own Safe-Home, in a healing space with a diverse range of healing enablers like access to sports, gardening and animal assisted interventions. This dream of ours is now shaping into reality.

On a half acre piece of land, donated to our Trust by a kind philanthropist, we seek to construct and commission a safe home complex by the end of 2025.

Gaurav Niwas Land as on Date

This complex, to be called Gaurav Niwas (to signify dignity and courage in the journey of our survivors), will be a one-stop secure space, that will contain all elements of rehabilitation that we have provided to our survivors so far, and a few additional healing enablers.

We envision Gaurav Niwas to have the following in one secure space with perimeter fencing and security arrangements.

Children's Home

To house 50 Survivors

A Learning Centre

To provide inhouse Bridge Education & Vocational Training

Ancillaries

To include sewage treatment plant, water purification plant

Healing enablers:

Physical Activities

Facilities for Sports & Games

Gardening

Opportunity to engage in gardening

Animal Assisted Interventions

Life with animals as a healing enabler

We are looking to raise 6.7 Cr for the construction of Gaurav Niwas.

Inviting the support of individuals and institutions alike, to make Gaurav Niwas a reality.

We will keep donors on the status of funds raised and construction commencement.
