Swakshatra Trust, founded by Army Veterans and professionals from civil, under its 10-day Campaign, “Her Independence”, is reaching out to women across India. We seek support to raise funds for the construction of Gaurav Niwas, a healing and supportive space that will be home for 75 girls who are survivors of sexual violence.

At present 19 girls are growing up at a safe home in Bengaluru run by the Trust from a rented accommodation. Gaurav Niwas is going to be built on a half acre plot in the outskirts of Bengaluru that was donated to the Trust last year.
